My love for words stemmed from the first page of a book. My grandmother likes to tell a story of when I was 3 years old and read her an entire book. At that age, I was far too small to actually read myself, but I had remembered all of the words and repeated them back as I flipped each glossy page. I've been storing books and words in my head ever since. 

As a life-long bibliophile, the craft of writing has always been part of my DNA. I've devoured hundreds of books, dreamt of being an author, spent my college years on the newspaper and magazine staff before finalizing a journalism degree, and started my first blog in 2006, which launched my career in social media and content marketing.
