Welcome to the coolest fully remote job where you get to be a BIG contributor in a growing business that is passionate about marketing, remote lifestyle, adventure, and work/life balance! As a Video Marketing Pro at First Page, you’ll own video initiatives for our largest client, working with our Content Expert to develop strategy and creating everything from casual TikTok videos to full production brand videos. This is an exciting role that requires creativity, juggling multiple projects with an eye on organization and perfection, and an innate understanding of what video content people find interesting—and how brands can participate in a genuine way. This role requires someone who is both creative and a “big ideas” person — we want to hear and see wild, unique and fun video ideas — while also being analytical and willing to do the nitty gritty optimization work also.
Own video strategy for First Page’s largest client, from creative storytelling and story boarding with agency partners to YouTube optimization and analytics.
Bring an understanding to the agency of the entire video production process and how to create killer videos, the timeline & resources needed, and then how to optimize and distribute those videos for views.
Be a big ideas person — fun, unique, wild and wacky. We want to hear it and see it.
Demonstrate a deep-level understanding of YouTube as a search engine — what works, what’s required, and how we get ahead in the platform.
Monitor and report on metrics for video content, contributing to client decks and presenting directly to the client when needed, leveraging video analytics tools for deeper insight outside of YouTube.
Analyze the success of video initiatives and adjust strategy accordingly, in collaboration with the Content Expert.
Work with other members of the marketing team, including Social, Content, SEO, Lead Gen, PPC, and Brand, to develop video content that achieves their channel goals, whether its traffic, engagement, shares, leads, or customers.
Identify new opportunities that video can help First Page meet or exceed client goals.
Create video content needed, whether internally or with the help of external agency partners, for paid social ads, organic social, SEO, influencer initiatives, landing pages, and lead gen content
Film more casual, fun and creative videos as needed for TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms, appearing on-camera as needed
Work with agency partners to create more formal, produced videos, like how-to videos, branded videos, and content for lead gen efforts
Collaborate with our YouTube Paid Media Specialist to build creative and click funnels using videos on the ad network.
Optimize video content for publication online on a variety of platforms, including social media and YouTube, by writing descriptions, adding tags, uploading thumbnails, etc.
3-5 years experience building Video strategy
Experience creating video content with external production partners
Fluency in social media platforms
Video production skills
Comfortable being on camera
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills and experience writing video scripts
High attention to detail, sense of ownership, and dedication to accuracy / quality
Technology-savvy, with the ability to learn quickly and juggle tasks in ClickUp, use mobile as necessary, and effectively use Zoom, Slack, and other online tools
A flexible attitude at a small, growing team as team and responsibilities internally shift
A willingness to be part of a fully remote team and care about who you work with on the other side of the computer — participation in team building video calls/events, Slack conversations, etc.
Must be available between the 10am-2pm CT hours (Slack or email for questions, but don’t have to be “at your desk” during those hours, necessarily)
Minimum annual salary of $75,000. You may also be entitled to receive a bonus and are entitled to benefits. See below for our standard outlined benefits for FTE + Extended team members.
